A practical preparation checklist from the AKHB website content programme. It is general process guidance, not a conclusion on an individual legal obligation.
Minimise information
Use only data needed for the task. Redact client identifiers where they add no analytical value, and use only approved processing channels.
Separate assistance from authority
An organised draft is not a verified conclusion. Independently check legal provisions, calculations, citations and factual assertions.
Make review visible
Document assumptions, source material, uncertainties and the person responsible for sign-off. Do not invent case law or fill evidence gaps with plausible text.
Keep humans accountable
The professional engagement and its review responsibilities remain in force when software helps prepare working materials.
Prepare the next conversation
Bring the relevant facts, documents, jurisdictions and deadlines to the discussion.
Request a scoped review
